Job summary

Frank Keane BMW Naas Road, a leading BMW/MINI retailer in Ireland, seeks qualified Motor Technicians with EV/High Voltage certification to join a fast-paced workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to BMW standards, with ongoing manufacturer training and a clear progression path.

The role requires strong diagnostics, attention to detail and teamwork. On-site parking and a wellness program are offered as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• EV and High Voltage qualification is required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with ADP/Kerridge or similar Dealer Management Systems would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to BMW/MINI retailer standards.
• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify required safety or maintenance work.
• Liaise with Parts Department to source parts and inform delays.
• Communicate additional repair requirements to Service Advisors for customer authorisation.
• Complete all job documentation to BMW warranty and manufacturer standards.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Stay up to date with BMW technical bulletins and training.

The Role

The successful candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair, delivering exceptional workmanship in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately in accordance with BMW/MINI retailer standards.
• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional safety or maintenance requirements.
• Liaise with the Parts Department to source required parts and keep the Workshop Controller informed of any delays.
• Communicate additional repair requirements to the Service Advisors for customer authorisation.
• Complete all job documentation accurately to BMW warranty and manufacturer standards.
• Road test vehicles where appropriate to ensure repairs have been completed to the highest standard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Stay up to date with BMW technical bulletins, systems and manufacturer training.
