• Valid full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults and perform repairs with authorization from Service Manager/advisor.
• Communicate parts needs to workshop and pursue special orders as necessary.
• Road-test vehicles and verify quality of repair.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
• Keep up-to-date with Kia/Nissan training and technical bulletins.

Working as a team we strive to achieve exceptional standards in this area, placing a strong emphasis on staff training, together with considerable facility development, which remains on-going.The Role:The ideal candidates will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:Communicating with parts and service department to obtain needed parts, inform workshop manager if the vehicle is awaiting parts, and pursue special order of parts if necessary.Diagnosing the cause of any malfunctions and perform a repair after confirming authorization by the Service Manager /advisorExamining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks and Video health Checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.Notifying service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Road-testing vehicles to spot check work performed.Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsKeeping abreast of technical bulletins and attend Kia/Nissan training as directed by Aftersales Kia/Nissan manager

Requirements:Qualified technician with 8+ years experience working as a diagnostic technicianExperience - working within in a franchised dealership.Ability to clearly complete job card write-ups with a thorough understanding of the requirements of franchised standards for warranty write-ups.Good communication skills written and oral must have the ability to identify and explain additional work required to service advisors or customers as required.Previous experience working with Franchised Dealer systems diagnosis equipment and modern electronics.Full clean and valid driving licenseSelf-motivated with high-Quality standards.
