Job summary

Keary’s Motor Group is seeking a BYD Diagnostic Technician to join the Renault Belgard workshop. You will diagnose and service vehicles, use specialist tools, and contribute to delivering premium customer care in a fast-paced retail setting.

Candidates should have vehicle technician qualifications, EV experience preferred, a full driving licence, and strong communication skills. This role is based at Keary’s Renault, Belgard.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Motor Technician (SOLAS/FAS or equivalent).
• EV maintenance experience is preferred.
• Full, clean driving licence and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles repaired or serviced with care and kept tidy.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
• Inform Workshop Foreman or Service Adviser of additional work.
• Be willing to work overtime with reasonable notice.
• Utilise tools and equipment to improve service levels and efficiency.
• Maintain product knowledge and read service bulletins.
• Develop skills in repair and maintenance of vehicles.
• Keep workspace clean and well-organised.
