Job summary

ALS is seeking a Regional General Manager to lead the Geochemistry business across Europe, driving sustainable growth, excellence, and superior customer experience. You will own the regional P&L, partner with operations and commercial teams, and champion safety and quality across a multicultural laboratory network.

• Significant senior leadership experience managing multi-site operations.
• Strong P&L management experience.
• Experience leading laboratory, manufacturing or industrial operations across multiple European countries.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong commercial and customer-facing capability.
• Ability to balance commercial priorities with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the European Geochemistry business and deliver regional revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Own the regional P&L and financial performance; develop regional strategy aligned with global priorities.
• Drive operational efficiency across laboratories and improve productivity and turnaround times.
• Foster collaboration and standardise best practices across Europe’s labs.
• Support business development and strengthen key customer relationships.
• Ensure a consistent, high‑quality customer experience; partner with clients on strategic accounts.
• Build a strong, engaged culture; coach laboratory leadership and drive accountability.
