The Appeals Centre Europe (ACE) seeks a Strategic Engagement Officer to manage relationships with external stakeholders across the EU and represent ACE at key events.

Based in Dublin (hybrid) or Brussels (fully remote), you will collaborate with the Communications team to engage civil society, regulators and platforms.

Strong written and verbal communication, event planning, and project management are essential; French or Italian language skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• At least two years’ experience of managing external stakeholders (ideally at a European or global level).
• Experience of organising events, such as panel discussions or workshops. This includes event concepts, identifying and liaising speakers, drafting external communications about the event.
• Experience of working with membership bodies, civil society organisations, regulators or social media platforms would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with external stakeholders across the EU.
• Prepare presentations about ACE’s work for diverse audiences including civil society organisations.
• Participate in discussions with regulators, platforms and the ODS Network.
• Act as a contact point for external stakeholders, with clear written communications.
• Ensure ACE is represented at key events and conferences across Europe related to content moderation and the Digital Services Act.
• Research events and conferences relevant to ACE.
• Work with ACE colleagues and external stakeholders to organise events and panel discussions.
• Produce speaker briefings and other preparatory materials.
• Support the Communications and Marketing Team with other tasks as required.
