Job summary

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client, invites EU passport holders to join a reputable Nursing Home group in north Dublin as a registered nurse. You will deliver person-centred care, administer medications, monitor residents' health, and collaborate with doctors and care staff while upholding HIQA and NMBI standards.

This full-time role requires an NMBI registration, English proficiency, and a commitment to high standards of care; training and career progression opportunities are

Qualifications

• Diploma / bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 6 months post graduate nursing experience.
• Full NMBI registration or at the end of the registration process.
• Good level of English.
• Experience in elderly care or a nursing home setting is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to providing high standards of care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitor and assess residents' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, and care assistants.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records and care plans.
• Support residents with daily activities and promote independence where possible.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and NMBI guidelines.
• Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development.
• Provide leadership and guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff.
