Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is recruiting an Estimator on behalf of an established Irish engineering contractor for a position based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a growing team and play a key role in the preparation and delivery of competitive tenders.

You will be involved throughout the tendering process, reviewing project documentation, completing take-offs, preparing estimates and obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, while working closely

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within construction or engineering.
• Mechanical / M&E estimating experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of tender documentation and take-offs.
• Experience obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Strong commercial, numerical and communication skills.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction qualification is beneficial.
• Valid working rights within Ireland / Europe.
