Job summary

CSR Crescent Specialist Recruitment (CSR) is seeking an experienced Estimator for a Tier One contractor in Dublin. You will compile accurate estimates for high-profile new build tender enquiries and manage labour, material and subcontract enquiries.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Building sector; senior estimators are encouraged to apply. Flexible hybrid working (2 days per week) is provided and a competitive salary plus market-leading benefits.

Qualifications

Job Description

A Tier One Contractor working with the UK & Irish market, had a new opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join the team. Based in the Dublin office you will be involved on high profile new build projects, typical values range from £10M-£50M. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for compiling accurate estimates analytically for selected tender enquiries effectively & efficiently.

Other responsibilities include:

• Tender Documentation Analysis
• Prepare labour/ material & subcontract enquiries
• Sound knowledge of modern construction techniques
• Price Tender Documentation accurately
• Detailed analysis and assessment of all tender quotes received
• Carry out a detailed analysis and assessment of all tender quotes received, with regard to competitiveness, compliancy and accuracy.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are highlighted to the relevant stakeholders
• Attend pre-tender, mid tender and post tender meetings and presentations
• Produce all relevant data and an accurate estimate for the project on time for tender adjudication and finalisation meetings.
• Post-tender involvement
• Establish and maintain good relations with, sub-contractors, suppliers and representatives
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects to ensure traceability

The successful Estimator will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Building sector. Senior Estimators are also encouraged to apply.

You will have

• Strong understanding of the construction process and technology
• Knowledge of project logistics and schedules
• Building and management of client expectations
• Preparing and producing reports for senior management
