Job summary

Mako is seeking an Equity Analyst to join the equity trading team in Dublin. You will work with senior traders and analysts to identify risks and opportunities in equities markets, delivering actionable insights.

You will contribute to the long-term equity strategy and the special situations desk by creating and maintaining proprietary research and robust financial models to support investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Front office or markets-adjacent experience preferred (US equities a plus)

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research across sectors and themes to develop proprietary insights.
• Build investment theses including industry mapping, dynamics and variant perceptions.
• Identify catalysts, risk factors and inflection points across covered names and themes.
• Construct and maintain detailed financial models, valuation frameworks and datasets.
• Track macro trends, regulatory changes and technology shifts to translate into equity views.
• Continuously refine research processes to generate edge more efficiently.
