Job summary

AllPro Recruitment is seeking an Equipping & Commissioning Lead to support a major healthcare capital programme in Dublin. The role will coordinate clinical and non-clinical equipment procurement and commissioning, aligning with technical, clinical and operational teams to ensure equipment is ready for service.

The candidate should have a Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) and at least five years' experience in building planning, design or PM, with strong procurement and commissioning

Qualifications

• Level 8 qualification in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying, or professional membership.
• Five years' experience in building planning, design, PM, or mechanical/electrical/heating services.
• Proven procurement and commissioning experience in a large programme.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Understanding of Irish public procurement processes.
• PM qualification such as PRINCE2 or CAPM or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and progress reporting.

On behalf of our client in public health, AllPro Recruitment are now seeking an Equipping & Commissioning Lead to support a major healthcare capital development programme in Dublin.

The successful candidate will lead the coordination of clinical and non-clinical equipment procurement and commissioning, working closely with technical, clinical and operational teams to ensure equipment is ready for service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the programme's equipping strategy.
• Work with departmental leads to identify equipment requirements and develop specifications.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, evaluation and contract award processes, subject to relevant approvals.
• Support value for money and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Align equipment procurement with construction, operational readiness and ICT requirements.
• Coordinate equipment readiness assessments to support commissioning decisions.
• Identify, record and manage programme risks, issues and dependencies.
• Maintain procurement records and provide accurate progress reports.
• Build effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• A recognised Level 8 qualification or higher in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying, accredited by the relevant professional institute; or appropriate membership of a relevant professional association; or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years' relevant experience in building planning, design, project management or construction, or the installation or maintenance of mechanical, electrical and heating services.
• Proven experience managing procurement and commissioning within a large programme of comparable scale and complexity.
• Strong technical knowledge, organisational ability and administrative skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of Irish public procurement processes and policy.
• A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, CAPM or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience preparing progress reports.

Location: Dublin

Salary: €80,676 gross per annum

Contract: Temporary agency contract, minimum 12 months

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
