Job summary

Cpl in Kildare is seeking an Equipment Engineer for on-site installation, qualification, and ongoing maintenance of complex electro-mechanical systems. This permanent role involves hands-on work, international travel for training, and a 4-cycle shift after training.

You will support customers across Ireland, reading schematics and diagnosing challenges while ensuring safety and quality in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• A Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
• Hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) through previous experience or projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Full Driving License.
• Ability to work 24/7 shift rota.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, qualification, preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Gain valuable experience working in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Do you like to troubleshoot, solve complex electro-mechanical problems and enjoy hands on tasks and projects? Our client are the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.

If you're successful, you will work as a Field Service Engineer and provide service and maintenance support to customers of clients key equipment, this is an onsite based role. Once you a fully trained - you will be working a 4 cycle shift .

There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland.
