Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking an EPMS Controls Design Engineer to coordinate EPMS design across AWS data centers. The role focuses on building management and electrical power monitoring standards with global scope and cross-team collaboration.

You will review electrical drawings, develop EPMS scopes, and participate in tests to validate device functionality while driving standardized documentation to reduce change orders and delays across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with fast-track design/build projects in data centers.
• Experience with electrical diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of EPMS, power monitoring, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to review and coordinate EPMS scopes and vendor proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review EPMS design content and ensure integration with MEP drawings.
• Create EPMS scopes of work and review vendor proposals.
• Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize SOWs.
• Attend Factory Witness Tests (FWTs) and Equipment Qualification Tests (EQTs).
• Develop and maintain EPMS specifications and Basis of Design documents.
• Lead collaboration across construction, programmers, and engineers.
