Job summary

Electricity Supply Board is seeking a senior environmental engineer / contaminated land specialist to lead land remediation, groundwater protection, and regulatory compliance across ESB projects. You will manage site investigations, risk assessments and remediation programmes, guiding teams and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant environmental management experience.
• Degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or equivalent.
• Experience in contaminated land and groundwater risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental site investigations, assessments and hydrogeological studies.
• Manage external consultants and review technical reports for CSMS, GQRA, DQRA and REMEDIAL options.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and EU environmental legislation and project delivery.
