Job summary

Jacobs in Dublin/Belfast seeks a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant to deliver land quality assessments, contamination studies, and remediation strategies across a broad portfolio. You will lead investigations and support project delivery, mentoring colleagues and shaping technical capability.

You will work across the UK, Ireland and Europe, collaborating with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams to drive safe, sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in geo-environmental consultancy with land quality projects.
• Chartered status or progress towards Chartership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 investigations.
• Develop land quality and remediation strategies for projects.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients and regulators.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and multi-disciplinary teams.
