Job summary

Electricity Supply Board (ESB) is seeking a Level 8 Civil Engineer with at least 7 years of relevant experience to join the Generation Engineering Civil and Environment Group in Ireland.

You will deliver civil, drainage and water engineering from feasibility through construction across a wide range of electricity infrastructure projects and large macro-infrastructures, with involvement in net zero initiatives.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Civil Engineer degree and minimum 7 years relevant experience.
• Strong capability in civil, drainage and water engineering design.
• Experience in hydraulic, hydrological modelling software.
• Proven ability to manage significant projects or aspects of projects.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision of civil, drainage, hydraulic and hydrological engineering services for project packages.
• Design surface water drainage systems including SUDS.
• Carry out Flood Risk Assessment and hydrological studies.
