Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking an Asset Data Governance Analyst to define and own the data governance model for all asset information. You will manage standards, security, and procedures across asset data capture, change, and provision.

Reporting to the Asset Data Governance Lead, you will collaborate with Asset Management and Operations to maintain data integrity, support regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in data management practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries.
• Experience using Asset Information Systems such as GIS/Maximo is a plus.
• Ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and maintenance of Asset Hierarchies adopted by Asset Management.
• Define and update asset data governance standards across Uisce Éireann.
• Ensure data governance aligns with regulatory objectives and business needs.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Operations teams on data issues.
• Support data quality checks and governance audits across systems.
• Maintain asset databases (e.g., Maximo, GIS) and ensure fit-for-purpose.
• Act as an expert user for asset-related information and governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data security and cost of data management.
