Job summary

Medtronic Ireland seeks an entry-level Cloud Engineer I to support PCS cloud infrastructure, helping build, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS environments, Windows and Linux systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

This role works under close supervision to improve reliability, security, and scalability of AWS infrastructure, with learning opportunities in Terraform, Ansible, scripting, and monitoring across CloudWatch, ELK, and Dynatrace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an entry-level cloud engineering contributor under close supervision and guidance from senior engineers.
• Support cloud infrastructure tasks on smaller projects and limited scope initiatives.
