Job summary

BACP- Community Employment seeks a motivated individual to join Charleville Community Childcare as a Childcare Assistant. This is a developmental opportunity with accredited training to support your career in early years education.

You will work in a team, under the guidance of the Room Leader, helping to meet children's daily needs, support the curriculum, and ensure safety and confidentiality at all times. Garda vetting will be arranged as required.

• Developmental opportunity with accredited training to support your career.
• Eligibility for CE participation must be verified by the Department.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Developmental role with accredited training to support your career.
• Work in a team under the Room Leader's guidance and liaise with colleagues daily.
• Communicate children's needs and daily requirements and contribute to the curriculum.
• Assist in delivering curriculum using written or oral communication as needed.
• Ensure the safety of children and follow service policies and procedures at all times.
• Respect Health & Safety statements and maintain confidentiality of family and company information.
• Be prepared to complete Garda Vetting application form as required.
