Childcare Assistant

Mahon Community Development Limited – The Bessborough Centre, Bessboro, Blackrock, Co. Cork, T12 CRA0.

Eligibility: Applicants must be 21 years or older (or 18+ for certain disadvantaged groups) and have received a qualifying social welfare payment for at least one year, or meet specific disadvantaged group criteria. Eligibility must be verified by the Department.

Duties

• Prepare food for children, wash children’s hands, and assist with feeding.
• Dress children for outdoor activities according to weather conditions.
• Plan and conduct arts and crafts sessions, and assist with cleanup.
• Support children during sleep time.

Accredited training will be provided to support your career. No experience necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Suitable validated character references.
• Completed Garda vetting application.
• International police clearance (where necessary).
