Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin is seeking an enthusiastic PR Executive to join our award-winning PR & Marketing team, supporting the Senior PR Manager in delivering focused, high-impact publicity campaigns across the BGET show calendar. This newly created role is ideal for a candidate looking to build their PR career within a fast-paced, high-profile entertainment environment.

The PR Executive will work closely with the Senior PR Manager to help deliver publicity targets for each production,

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in PR/communications/media.
Excellent written English with ability to write accurate, engaging copy.
Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Interest in building a network of media contacts across broadcast, print and online.

Responsibilities

Support Senior PR Manager in planning and delivering PR campaigns for each production.
Draft and distribute press releases, statements, pitches and PR materials.
Build, maintain and grow relationships with regional and trade media, and support national outlets.
Assist with researching and pitching story angles to secure media coverage.
Coordinate logistics for press days, photo calls, opening nights and press trips; liaise with talent and media on the day.
Organise media/VIP ticketing for opening nights; manage guest lists with Box Office.
