Iron Mountain Cork is seeking a detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our IT & Test Engineering team in Cork. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise hardware and software systems while developing automation scripts and administering databases to support seamless IT and test operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or test engineering with enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise hardware, software architectures, and DBs.
• Scripting and automation using Python and Bash required.
• Good troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise hardware and software.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex issues through debugging.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash.
• Administer relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT and test operations.
• Document processes and present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
