Responsibilities

• Defining the target enterprise architecture across application, data, and integration domains.
• Ensuring alignment with organisational IT strategy and future-state operating model.
• Establishing architecture governance processes, standards, and design authority inputs.
• Provide architecture assurance across solution design, vendor proposals, and implementation.
• Leading the design of integration architecture across internal and external systems.
• Identify and define integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Manage integration dependencies across workstreams (finance, data, reporting, etc.).
• Provide technical input into solution design decisions and trade-offs.
• Support high-level process and system design activities.
• Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and environment strategies.
• Ensure security, data governance, and compliance requirements are embedded.

Ergo are seeking an Enterprise Data Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with a public-sector client in Dublin. As an Enterprise Data Architect you will play a key role in supporting major digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new ERP platform.

The role will be responsible for documenting and assessing the current enterprise architecture, defining the future-state architecture, and defining system integration requirements in support of major transformation programmes.

This is a hybrid role with great day rates and multi-year extensions.

What will you do?
