Archer Recruitment is seeking a Solution Architect for a Dublin-based, hybrid role to lead end‑to‑end architecture across Azure and hybrid environments. You will collaborate across cloud infrastructure, networking, applications, integrations, data and security to design cohesive solutions.

The role involves guiding multi‑team design efforts, supporting migration and modernisation programmes, and presenting designs through governance forums to deliver robust end‑to‑end outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect or Technical Architect.
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience across IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience leading multi‑team solution designs in a large enterprise.

• Own end-to-end solution architecture from business requirement through to technical design and delivery.

A major enterprise organisation is looking for a Solution Architect to join its architecture team and lead the design of complex, business-critical solutions across a highly integrated Azure and hybrid environment.

This is a broad architecture role sitting at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, networking, applications, integration, data and security.

You won’t need to be the deepest technical specialist in every area. The key is being able to understand how the different pieces fit together, make sound architecture decisions, and bring specialist teams together around a cohesive end‑to‑end solution.

The environment includes major Azure transformation programmes, on‑prem to cloud migration, multi‑region architecture, data platforms and a growing AI workload.

The Role / Opportunity

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture from business requirement through to technical design and delivery
• Design solutions across Azure infrastructure, networking, applications, integrations, data and security
• Support major on‑premise to Azure migration and modernisation programmes
• Contribute to multi‑region and hybrid cloud architecture
• Support emerging Azure AI and data‑platform initiatives
• Produce HLDs, architecture diagrams, options papers and technical roadmaps
• Present designs through architecture governance and design forums

What You Need

• Previous experience operating in a genuine Solution Architect, Cloud Architect or Technical Architect role
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience across both IaaS and PaaS
• Ability to work across infrastructure/networking and application/platform architecture
• Experience with application integration, APIs, messaging or enterprise integration patterns
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and legacy modernisation
• Experience leading substantial, multi‑team solution designs in a large enterprise environment
