Job summary

Johnson Controls in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to lead enterprise architecture across Commercial, Service, Systems and Installed Base. You will define architecture strategy and govern standards for scalable, data-driven platforms.

You will drive the evolution of the data platform with Snowflake, Coalesce, Azure Data Factory, and Fivetran, enabling data products, analytics, and AI capabilities across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or related technology leadership roles.
• Experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions in global organizations.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders to influence technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own architectural vision and roadmap across Commercial, Service, Systems, and Installed Base domains.
• Lead design of scalable, secure enterprise solutions supporting long-term growth.
• Govern architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and data governance across ecosystems.
• Ensure alignment of architecture with strategic programs and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Mentor architects and drive architectural maturity across the organization.
