Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking an Enterprise Architect for Dublin. This hybrid role combines 2-3 days on-site with remote work, and starts a new transformation programme in its early discovery phase.

You will help define strategy and architecture across the business, focusing on data strategy and a clear technology roadmap for future changes. The role includes assessing current maturity and recommending prioritised investments.

Enterprise Architect

• Dublin (Hybrid 2-3 days / week onsite)

• 6 month rolling contract, long term programme

• €600 - €700/day

Exciting new Enterprise Architecture contracting role available with a leading Irish technology business. This is a totally new role in the very early phases of a transformation programme. You’ll join right from the early discovery phases, helping to define strategy and architecture across the business and help establish a clear roadmap for future technology change.

The role is suited to a rounded Enterprise Architect with a slight emphasis on data strategy. You’ll work across business and technology teams to understand the existing landscape, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape the target architecture, governance and technology roadmap.

You’ll also be involved in assessing the current maturity of systems and integrations, identifying risks and dependencies and provide clear recommendations on where investment and change should be prioritised.

Desired Skills / Experience

• Proven experience delivering enterprise architecture strategy from discovery through to delivery on large-scale programmes.

• Strong understanding of combining data strategy, integrations and enterprise applications/systems.

• Ability to assess existing technology landscapes, identify system risks and prioritise workload based on risk, effectiveness and effort.

• Experience evaluating tools, software and technology models in line with current system maturity and future business requirements.

• Solid experience designing architectures, establishing system governance and defining technology standards.

• Experience developing target-state architectures and roadmaps to support wider business transformation.

• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex architecture concepts into clear recommendations.

• Strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, dependencies and the wider impact of technology change.

• Comfortable working in an early-stage transformation environment where strategy, priorities and architecture are still being defined.
