Job summary

MetroLink in Dublin, Ireland seeks an experienced Engineering & Sustainability Director to lead the engineering and sustainability functions for Ireland's largest transport infrastructure programme.

The role requires steering the design brief, setting standards, and delivering a best-in-class systems engineering approach across the lifecycle, coordinating with the Programme Director and partner organisations in a major public sector project.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering functions on large capital investments core to critical infrastructure.
• Experience with complex urban infrastructure projects and safety-critical systems.
• Chartered membership or strong alignment with a professional body (IEI, ICE, IET, IMechE or APM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering function and collaborate with the Programme Director and other MetroLink directors.
• Oversee development and assurance of the design and engineering brief across the programme.
• Set standards, processes and Technical Authority for MetroLink, coordinating with partner organisations.
