Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is expanding its planning team to support a Dublin project. The Project Planner will work with Project Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a 3rd level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, 3–5 years' experience in planning, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6. A strong focus on collaboration and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and highlight key schedule requirements.
• Develop construction schedule from high level target schedule and WBS.
• Support client schedule negotiations.
• Load labour and metrics into the schedule from Commercial Team inputs.
• Develop trackers and reporting templates.
• Create an integrated construction schedule with Main Contractor and Project Manager.
• Measure weekly progress and efficiency and validate with Commercial Team every 2–3 weeks.
• Identify risks and roadblocks and inform Lead Planner.
