Job summary

North Cork-based food production client is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage investment and production expansion projects at the manufacturing facility. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, plan and execute projects, and ensure operational continuity during line transfers and commissioning.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 3–5 years of capital project management experience, and strong AutoCAD, MS Project and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of management and monitoring of capital investment projects in an industrial environment.
• Technical knowledge of industrial facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and civil works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software, Microsoft Project, and Advanced Excel.
• Fluent English; Spanish a bonus; authorised to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

Job description

An Engineering Project Manager is needed by our North Cork based food production client. The person will lead and manage the execution of investment and production expansion projects for the manufacturing facility.

THE ROLE:

• Execute the investment projects required for the implementation of new production processes, as well as projects related to the development of new products within the Group companies.
• Collaborate with project managers from different business areas in defining the objectives of each project.
• Coordinate and lead the project team responsible for achieving the defined objectives.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
• Lead production line transfer and commissioning projects between Group plants, coordinating local teams and ensuring operational continuity.
• Management and coordination of external contractors and construction suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Occupational Health and Safety Technician to improve workplace safety, hygiene, and ergonomics.
• Understand, comply with, and enforce all company policies and procedures related to Compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
• Candidates with extensive industrial experience and diplomas in related fields will be considered
• 3-5 years of management and monitoring of capital investment projects in an industrial environment.
• Technical knowledge of industrial facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and civil works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software, Microsoft Project, and Advanced Excel.
