Brightwater Recruitment is supporting a leading Dublin industrial site in recruiting an Engineering Manager for Mechanical and Electrical assets. The role focuses on leading a multidisciplinary team, developing asset management strategies, and driving performance across asset lifecycles.

Our client are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team and manage mechanical and electrical assets at a prominent Dublin industrial site. This job will be well suited for a degree qualified engineer with strong people and asset management experience who want to play a key role in the strategic development of the company for the coming years. Please note that this position requires being on-site full time.

About the Position

• As Engineering Manager – Mechanical and Electrical Assets, your job will be managing/developing relevant asset management strategies and plans for M&E assets.
• Driving the control, monitoring and optimisation of operational and maintenance costs, risks and performance across full asset lifecycles.
• Supporting preparation for new assets by coordinating readiness, operational requirements, and standards to ensure requirements are met.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and long-standing operations.
• Leading, managing and developing a multidisciplinary technical team.
• Driving a high-performance culture by shaping and delivering people focused strategies.
• Ensuring assets are fit for purpose, safe, reliable and meet all relevant regulatory requirements.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Engineering Manager – Mechanical and Electrical Assets job, you will have 10+ years’ experience in a relevant area and strong people leadership experience.
• You will also have a relevant third level engineering qualification.
