Job summary

TechMet Ltd. seeks an experienced Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering to lead the engineering function across the group, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, energy efficiency and safe, compliant operations in a multi-site manufacturing setting.

You will drive asset reliability, utilities performance, engineering projects and continuous improvement while developing high-performing teams and embedding Operational Excellence throughout the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with leadership experience in blue-chip pharma/FMCG or allied sectors.
• Experience using CMMS to manage assets, maintenance plans and performance.
• Strong budget ownership experience including CapEx planning and cost reduction delivery.
• Proven leadership of Engineers and Technicians, with performance management and skills development.
• Track record of driving Operational Excellence and OEE improvements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering function to ensure maximum equipment uptime, energy efficiency and safe, compliant operations.
• Oversee asset reliability, manage utilities infrastructure and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and govern maintenance strategies, preventive/predictive/autonomous programmes and CMMS governance.
• Manage annual Engineering & Utilities budget and lead cost reduction initiatives with KPI monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects on time and to spec.
