Qualifications

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Around 5+ years' experience in production or manufacturing leadership.
Experience leading technical teams in engineering/manufacturing.
Strong understanding of fabrication, mechanical assembly or bespoke manufacturing.
Able to read CAD-based manufacturing information.
Excellent planning and communication skills.
Passionate about improving manufacturing performance via Lean principles.
Enjoy developing people and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end production operations from intake to final completion.
Plan and coordinate production schedules across fabrication, assembly and integration.
Develop and lead technicians, fabricators, electricians and production teams.
Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across the factory.
Monitor quality and approve completed builds.
Collaborate with engineering, purchasing and project teams.
Improve workflows, reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
Support project planning, production reviews and customer delivery.
