Job summary

Torpey Hurleys is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee all onsite manufacturing activities and drive efficiency on the shop floor. The role combines hands-on production work with strategic planning to meet quality and delivery targets.

You will lead lean initiatives, manage staff recruitment/training, and ensure inventory and logistics run smoothly. A strong background in engineering or manufacturing management is required, with English fluency and a valid work permit for Ireland.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in manufacturing/operations management, ideally CNC or high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Lean/continuous improvement systems.
• Third-level qualification in engineering, operations management, or manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite manufacturing operations to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Lead daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, throughput and resource planning.
• Spend time on the factory floor to support production requirements.
