Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering & Integration – R&D to lead a new Ireland-based team. You will recruit, coach, and develop engineers while guiding integration across devices, apps and clinical systems to enable advanced workflows.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with teams in Germany, India and the US, and a focus on building robust software and testing practices within a growing R&D ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or software engineering.
• Proven experience delivering complex software products or systems.
• Experience leading or mentoring software engineers.
• Strong grasp of development, integration and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new team of software developers and integration/test engineers.
• Recruit, coach and develop the team with support from global R&D engineers.
• Lead software development that connects devices, apps and clinical systems.
• Enable clinical features via data exchange and integration across tech.
• Guide development across user apps, backend and integration layers.
• Drive strong software development, integration and testing practices.
