Job summary

Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division Donegal is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to provide both technical leadership and people leadership across engineering projects, NPI, and equipment qualification in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

You will lead engineers and specialists, partnering with Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure projects meet quality, safety and business goals while advancing operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ideally chemical/mechanical/electrical.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering/manufacturing leadership roles in a regulated environment.
• Proven experience delivering engineering projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and people leadership across engineering projects and NPI.
• Lead a team of engineers and specialists, partnering with multiple functions.
• Deliver projects on time, within quality, cost and schedule objectives.
