Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an Engineering Intern in Cork, Ireland for a 6–9 month program designed for high-potential undergraduates. The role offers exposure to capital projects, business case development and Capex funding processes, with mentoring and opportunities to collaborate across a global network.

The intern will support engineering and procurement standards, interact with operations and suppliers, and gain practical experience in project delivery, process improvement and sustainability

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Willingness to learn and contribute across PGCS Engineering standards and project concept development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead/Support end-to-end execution of Capital Engineering Projects.
• Support plant KPI achievement through productivity programs.
• Support development of engineering and procurement standards.
• Build supplier relationships with key vendors.
• Learn and implement change management in projects.
• Learn cutting-edge technologies in key areas.
• Present to PGCS senior management for Capex approvals.
