Job summary

PepsiCo in Cork, Ireland is offering an Engineering Intern position for a 6-9 month programme starting next year. The role spans engineering and project management, with exposure to Operations, suppliers and the PepsiCo global network.

You will support the Engineering Manager in developing business cases and Capex documentation, build capability, and assist in solving complex technical problems across the Global Engineering Team sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Willingness to learn and actively contribute in PGCS areas
• Understanding of project concept development and capital approval
• Strong IT skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Clear communication and ability to work in an international, multi-functional team

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end execution of Capital Engineering Projects including business case development
• Support plants in achieving KPIs through productivity programs
• Develop engineering and procurement standards and manage supplier relationships
• Understand and implement Change Management
• Participate in Global Engineering Team meetings and share best practices
• Learn cutting edge technologies and present to PGCS senior management
