Job summary

Designer Group is seeking a skilled Bid Content Writer to join our team in Ireland. You will craft compelling tender submissions, transform technical data into persuasive content, and support marketing collateral such as data sheets and capability statements.

You will collaborate with engineers, business development, and operations to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines, while managing multiple deadlines and maintaining high-quality writing across public and private sector bids.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development or technical content writing.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging and persuasive content.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with both public and private sector tender submissions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit and proofread high-quality content for tender submissions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and convert it into clear, compelling and persuasive bid responses.
• Produce and maintain project data sheets, staff CVs, capability statements and other supporting documentation.
• Ensure all content aligns with Designer Group's brand, tone of voice and quality standards.
• Support the continuous improvement of bid content by maintaining a library of standard responses and reusable content.
• Work closely with Business Development, Operations and technical teams to capture project information and client success stories.
• Review tender documentation to ensure written responses fully address client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Assist with the preparation of presentation materials and other business development documentation where required.
• Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
