Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain life safety systems across Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and fault finding on Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems.

The role offers up to €65K (DoE) plus on-call and overtime, with 20 days holiday, pension, life assurance and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with life safety systems is a plus.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on life safety equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform first-fix repairs where possible.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements.
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible.
• Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
• Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit.

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer based out of our Cork office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding, and minor corrective works on a range of life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. This role will cover Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary.
