Job summary

Aramark Workplace Ireland is seeking an experienced Head of Energy Services to lead the delivery, growth and strategic development of the Energy Services Division. The role combines leadership, client engagement and business development across public and private sectors, driving energy efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives.

Reporting to the senior leadership, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, oversee tenders and proposals, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering measurable

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered engineering status and energy management qualifications are highly desirable.
• Membership of professional bodies such as AEE or Engineers Ireland is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and optimise a multidisciplinary team of energy professionals.
• Develop and execute the divisional business plan, growth strategy and resource plan.
• Lead energy-related tenders, proposals and client presentations.
• Build executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities across public and private sectors.
• Oversee the delivery of energy consultancy and turnkey project solutions.
• Manage divisional financial performance, project profitability and approval of business proposals.
• Minimise commercial, operational, contractual and capital risk.
• Oversee procurement of energy equipment and services through approved suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality and legal requirements.
• Drive energy efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives, including CHP, heat recovery, process optimisation and renewables.
• Design and lead client energy behavioural awareness programmes, including employee engagement campaigns, training, site energy champions and performance communications that embed energy-conscious behaviours and support measurable savings.
