Mercy University Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to lead the Endoscopy Pre-Assessment service. The CNM2 will coordinate pre-assessment for GI referrals, guide patient pathways, and work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise endoscopy capacity.

The post reports to the CNM3 Endoscopy and is part of a broader nursing leadership framework. The role requires a registered nurse with substantial Endoscopy experience, strong leadership, and ongoing professional development, in a

Qualificações

• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or be eligible for registration.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in Endoscopy.
• Demonstrated clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to discharge the role functions.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and proficiency in maintaining high nursing standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate pre-assessment of GI endoscopy referrals and assign patients to appropriate care pathways.
• Provide professional and clinical leadership to the Endoscopy team.
• Supervise staff and support development of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• Ensure nursing care standards and regular audit-based monitoring are in operation.
• Promote research awareness and participate in relevant nursing research activities.
