Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in residential care settings.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.

• Provide day-to-day care and support tailored to individual needs.
• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies with low-arousal approaches.
• Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Promote independence, dignity and informed decision-making.
• Maintain a safe, clean residential environment.
• Complete daily records, risk assessments and incident documentation.
• Follow medication procedures and safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in reviews and development of support plans.
• Adhere to HIQA standards and regulations.
