Job summary

Wallace Myers International in County Dublin is seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to join our residential services team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and complex needs. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week, with day and night shifts.

You will implement person-centred support plans, advocate for rights and wellbeing, and work with families and professionals to deliver positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care or related discipline.
• CORU registration or in progress.
• Minimum 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of current policies, legislation and best practice within disability and social care services.
• Ability to develop, implement and review individual support plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient IT skills: MS Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams.
• Full driving license and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living while promoting independence and choice.
• Implement and contribute to person-centred support plans.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and respectful environment.
• Advocate for the rights, dignity and wellbeing of those supported.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
