Job summary

The Rehab Group in Limerick is seeking a Social Care Worker for Seoidin Childrens Residential Service. This permanent, part-time role (30 hours) involves providing individualized support to children with intellectual disabilities and autism, in line with national standards.

Salary starts at €38,217.40 and can go up to €52,994.26 pro rata, depending on experience. Key requirements include a third level Health & Social Care degree, a valid driving licence, and prior residential care experience.

Qualifications

• A third level graduate in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a residential care setting is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability.
• Full clean driving licence is required.

• Promote teamwork and create a nurturing environment for service users.
• Provide person-centred care and support in daily living activities.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and manual handling guidelines are followed at all times.
