Job summary

Airbnb seeks an experienced EMEA Talent Partner (HRBP) to guide regional leaders, shape people strategy, and drive employee experience programs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is a dynamic, high-impact role in a fast-moving, global company.

This is a temporary assignment arranged through Magnit Global. You will be contracted by Magnit Direct Sourcing and may work at an Airbnb site while aligning global HR strategies with local execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in fast moving, global companies.
• Deep experience in HRBP, compensation, recruiting, employee relations, and talent management.
• BA/BS in HR; MA preferred. Specializations such as OB, employment law, compensation encouraged.
• Experience using Google Suite to analyze HR data; Workday experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools to manage work products is a plus.
• Travel passion and a strong customer focus are valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor to regional leaders on people matters and org design.
• Oversee cyclical talent programs, performance reviews, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with COEs to roll out employee experience and workplace initiatives.
• Champion diversity and belonging across the EMEA region and shape global agendas.
• Provide insights to global teams to inform the worldwide talent strategy.

The Role

The Airbnb EMEA Talent Partner (Human Resources Business Partner) is a critical role that advises and coaches regional business leaders. They drive team health, deliver employee experience programs, and implement global human resources strategies at a local level across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: Act as a coach to business leaders on all people matters, organizational design, and team development.
• Talent Management: Oversee the planning and delivery of cyclical talent programs, performance reviews, and employee relations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to roll out employee experience and workplace initiatives.
• Diversity & Belonging: Champion D&B programs across the region, ensuring global diversity agendas are implemented locally.
• Regional Strategy: Provide EMEA-specific insights to global people teams to shape the overarching worldwide talent agenda.

Ideal Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in fast moving, high growth, global companies.
• Deep experience/expertise in 4+ functional HR areas (HRBP, Compensation, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Talent Management, etc.).
• BA/BS degree in HR related field; MA/MS preferred. Educational specialization is highly preferred (Organizational Behavior, Organization Development, Employment Law, Compensation, Statistics, Business, etc).
• Experience using Google Suite to collect, analyze, and visualize HR data.
• Experience using Workday is highly preferred.
• Experience and knowledge using AI platforms and tools to manage work products and outcomes.
• Passionate about travel and how travel works.
• Strong commitment to customers and the customer experience (internal and external customers).
• Enjoys having fun doing meaningful work with business clients and colleagues.
• Experience: Deep, progressive experience in core HR disciplines (Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Change Management).
• Influence: Exceptional collaboration skills with a proven track record of influencing managers and leaders in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Communication: High-level of emotional intelligence with the ability to advise leaders on sensitive, complex organizational matters.
• Global Mindset: Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies within the EMEA region.
