Job summary

Abbott seeks a Regional IT Director – EMEA to lead IT strategy, governance, risk and value delivery across a multi-country, regulated landscape. As IT Hub Lead for Cherrywood, Ireland, you will shape talent, culture and enterprise alignment while partnering with senior leaders to drive transformative programs.

You will chair governance forums, own regional demand and investment governance, and ensure compliance with global quality systems and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with regional/global scope.
• Fluent English; additional European languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IT leadership for the EMEA region, driving strategy, governance, risk management and value realization.
• Serve as IT Hub Lead for Cherrywood, Ireland, shaping talent, leadership capability and enterprise alignment.
• Chair IT governance forums and partner with senior business leaders on complex transformation programs.
• Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, global quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
