SOTI Inc. is seeking an IT Operations Lead (EMEA) based in Galway, Ireland, to oversee IT operations and Service Desk for the EMEA region. You will drive incident response, projects, and security controls while coordinating with teams across Canada, APAC, and Europe.

You will lead a growing team, mentor staff, implement improvements, and ensure a reliable end-user experience. This role requires a strong MS 365/Azure/AD background and vendor management experience, in a hybrid Galway office

Qualifikationen

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting IT and end users in a corporate environment.
• Proven Team Lead or IT Operations leadership experience.
• Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows 11, Microsoft 365 admin, Azure, Active Directory, SSO, SCCM, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), Hyper-V, endpoint security, service desk tools, and hardware lifecycle.

Aufgaben

• Lead day‑to‑day IT Operations and Service Desk across the EMEA region.
• Coordinate and prioritise workloads; ensure tickets are resolved within SLAs.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Service Desk team members.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Drive service excellence through process improvements and metrics.
• Manage hardware procurement, inventory, lifecycle across EMEA and relationships with vendors.
• Support and administer Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows.
• Oversee infrastructure maintenance, upgrades and optimization.
• Ensure security, compliance and data protection across IT controls.
• Plan and deliver IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with global IT teams (Canada, APAC) on regional objectives.
• Produce operational reports and identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure a consistent high-quality end-user experience across locations.
