Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Accounting to join the EMEA Finance organization on a 12 to 15 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role reports to the Finance Director and will lead a small international team across Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux, and Eastern Europe, ensuring accurate US GAAP and Local GAAP reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Big 4 audit experience is required.
• Significant post-qualification experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong technical accounting expertise across US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Experience leading statutory audits and regulatory compliance in multiple European jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage international teams and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and modern finance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for assigned EMEA entities.
• Ensure timely US GAAP reporting and local statutory reporting.
• Manage US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations and statutory bridge analyses.
• Oversee statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax teams.
• Drive process improvements and automation across the EMEA accounting function.
• Mentor and develop a geographically dispersed finance team.
