Job summary

Amazon Ireland Support Services Limited is seeking a qualified accounting professional to own statutory reporting and close processes across multiple entities. You will prepare month-end close journal entries, draft statutory financial statements, coordinate regulatory filings, and support external audits with thorough documentation.

You will develop technical accounting analyses for complex transactions, ensure compliance with IFRS and other frameworks, and partner with regional finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and external auditors.
• Strong audit and technical accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or Big Four environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end statutory close journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Develop interim and year-end statutory financial statements for legal entities.
• Coordinate statutory filings across regions with timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Support external audit activities by providing documentation and facilitating communication with auditors.
• Analyze complex business transactions and develop technical accounting position papers.
