Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited in Dublin is seeking a technically skilled BI Engineer / Data Scientist to join the EMEA DCCD team. You will turn raw construction data into actionable insights, building scalable dashboards and intelligent data solutions to monitor cost, schedule, quality, and risk across the EMEA data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or data science roles with production-grade reporting.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL in large datasets.
• Experience building data pipelines/ETL processes.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight) and AWS data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports providing real-time visibility into project performance (cost, schedule, quality, risk).
• Build BI solutions using QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau tailored to Construction Managers and leadership.
• Develop KPI frameworks and leading indicators for proactive risk identification.
• Own ETL pipelines ingesting data from Procore, BIM 360, Smartsheet, and internal AWS systems.
• Create AI/ML powered solutions (Bedrock, LLMs) to automate reporting and narrative generation.
• Support project controls with dashboards integrating traditional metrics with AI analytics.
