Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled BI Engineer / Data Scientist to join the EMEA DCCD team. You will design and deploy intelligent data solutions to provide real-time visibility into project performance, cost, schedule, quality, and risk across the EMEA region.

You will work with Construction Managers and TIPMs to turn raw construction data into actionable insights, building ETL pipelines and ML-powered features on AWS. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the EMEA DCCD Lead.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business intelligence, data engineering, or data science with production-grade reporting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting systems with real-time visibility into project performance across cost, schedule, quality, and safety
• Build BI solutions using Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, or equivalents tailored to construction managers and leadership
• Develop KPI frameworks to enable proactive risk identification and data-driven decisions across the EMEA construction portfolio
• Serve as liaison between Business & Project Controls and technical data teams to ensure aligned reporting
• Produce programme-level performance reports consolidating data from multiple projects and clusters across the region
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines ingesting data from Procore, BIM 360, Smartsheet, and internal AWS systems
• Design and manage data models and warehousing solutions supporting automated reporting and longitudinal trend analysis
